Choosing an action pose to portray motion

Representing an agile and heroic horse through high contrast and tapered shapes
GEOMETRIC TRANSLATION
Utilizing ellipses and repeating angles to render the curves and create consistent lines.
FINAL MARK
Resulting in a recognizable horse icon, while also portraying my sense of style through design choices such as utilizing negative space and bold lines.
APPLICATION
Using leading lines and type/image interaction, I stylistically incorporated the phrase "Gallantly the stallion races the wind" into the creature mark design.
FINAL INTREPRETIVE PHRASE
Using the Fibonacci sequence as a grid reference, the final layout conveys dynamic movement and presents an application for my iconographic mark when incorporated with typography.
